Didnt work for me tried this years ago when I was new to this had similar sized jag and oscar in a 120 eay too small I know jag was too much for the oscar
When I had my oscar he was about 6 inches and I introduced a 2 inch Jag. Before long the Jag had caught up to the oscar in size and they lived quite well together until I had to rehome them due to lack of a proper sized aquarium at the time.
Depends on the fish. Mine get along great- I have a 14" jag and 2 x 13" oscars in a 180 gallon! (take a look at my thread!). If you do go for it, just keep a eye on them, and maybe put some stuff in the tank so they can have their own territories!
