After 2 hours of going at it, I got the floor jacks installed. Tank is currently 75% full. I'm going to leave it at 75% for a while, and see how things go. My overflow wont arrive for a week or so anyways.
Would Ceiling Jacks help support a big aquarium?

So, how long does the tank need to be up before you can safely say its not going anywhere? I got the floor jacks in and everything, I'm just paranoid.

it looks like you're only supporting one joist with those jacks, am i correct?
if so, i would have made the beam and jacks support all the joists that the tank will span like in my pic below (the same way your main beam holds the joists of your house):

i'm assuming this is roughly what you have going on with your tank.
the purpose of the new beam is to keep your floor from dipping or collapsing (collapse is highly unlikely). you would be much better served by running the new beam across the joists; you'll support them all rather than just supporting one. it also spreads the tanks weight across the joists equally rather than just one joist holding the whole tank. if i'm seeing what i think i see, you'ld probably be better off with nothing under there rather than that.
the new beam can be put pretty much anywhere from directly under the tank or out to the middle of the joist span with the same benefits.

I put it that way, because that was the only joist that is under the fishtank. i could change it though if you feel it would be better.
