Would convicts school

I already have a pair in a growout tank. Well they ended up laying eggs successfully. This was their first attempt too. I am keeping the parents and was curious to see the options of raising up and keeping some of their young also.

Unfortunately most cichlids won't school, but some do well in groups. What about a group of thorichthys like firemouths? They can be very entertaining in a tank that size.

Hmmm...I don't want to go the Thorichthys route yet. I just recently had my firemouths die. One died Saturday directly related to my tank cracking and the other from too much stress from being picked on by the other firemouth.

They hang out in groups in the wild.....I've seen pairs close to each other too....
