Yeah, that's outta my league at least for the forseeable future.....BTW,did you rent that truck that you brought the 600 home in?

We rented a Penske truck. I've done the uhaul BS too many times. The Penske truck was a 1000 times better in the sense that it wasn't a run down POS and the people I worked with were fantastic. I've rented from Penske twice now at two different locations. Absolutely the way to go, and from my caluclations, didn't cost me a dime more. Note the ride is rougher in an empty truck, but still. So much happier.

If you are getting it to move the tank, make sure that you get a truck with a large enough lift gate. Some of the trucks' lift gates only go part way across the back. With a 10' tank, you'd need one with the full gate.

Yes,thanks, that is what I will need if this deal goes through..I am even thinking about hiring a moving firm to pick up and bring me the tank as I don't know if I could enlist the help needed to do the job myself.I'll have to make some calls and compare the prices.

If you hire a moving company, I can't stress enough to make sure that if they break it, they are responsible for it via either contract or insurance.... :nilly:

definitely +1, and yeah sadly that tank wouldnt be good for life, remember that a RTC can eventually get to 5ft long so definitely need a tank/pond wider than 30in, but there are definitely plenty of lesser monsters you can house very comfortably in that tank
