would a jack dempsey x texas cross and two jack dempseys be ok in a 55 gallon. i am running two 60 gallon H.O.B. filter on it now.
 
ya i think they would be fine. it depends on there size. they are both pretty aggressive
 
is it for life?
 
You could get away with it, but when they get to full size, it wouldn't be recommended.
 
i was wanting it for life. do you think two would be ok or do you think it would be better just to keep one.
 
1 would be fine for life, maybe even 2. If you would be interested in a cheap 75, I will be getting rid of 1 over the winter.
 
You need more filtration in the meantime, unless you plan on doing two to three W/C's per week.
