Would I be overstocked if...?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
So if the aro is not a great idea longterm, what if I added the CK and a bichir? Seems that the lower region of my tank would be pretty crowded in that case (CK,dat, panaque, loachesANDbichir). One of the reasons I like the idea of a topwater species like an aro of some sort. ????

My son has an oscar in one of our other tanks. What bout that? Too rambunctious?

Uaru, geophagus would be nice.. :)

a black aro would be fine in there for a long time...tjhey usually grow alot slower then silvers and stay a little smaller

Don't HAVE an aro. Don't want a black one either anymore. I hear bad things about them being wild caught.

I love geophagus, but am worried the lower levels of my tank are getting too crowded.

Also, don't want anything that will eventually be too big to house in what I already have. Being ok for a fewyears just isn't good enough. I would like to think i will be able to upgrade in the future, but until I do I am going to stick with what fits in my 240.

the CK would need a bigger tank because the get too huge for a 55.
