It's not a matter of how big they are, it's whether they want to eat it or not. Some pbass eat anything, and some are really particular. You could have two of the exact same pbass and one will eat pellets and one wont. The ones that dont eat pellets usually learn from the others, but sometimes they might need some help. Soaking pellets in bloodworm juice works well if they are already eating bloodworm.
All they are eating right now is some baby convicts I ploped into their tank and they are nibiling the blood worms
