Would like some feedback/opinions (scape in progress)

Yeah I used to make my own osmocote tabs too. I have some smaller 1-3" river rocks but the colors are just not right. They look out of place.the 3 big rocks in there come all from the same river in the same area, so they look good together. Plus smaller stones just get covered.

I was thinking of getting some small gravel from a landscape yard to sprinkle around but I worry that it will all just sink into the substrate and be a waste.

Noticing a fair bit of tannin's being released and the water is really getting some color to it. I think its looking great!

Tannins are horrible... Especially with Mopani, it never ends

I guess it really depends on what look your going for. I mean naturally a lot of south american waters would be stained right?

Worked on the scape this weekend a bit mire. Here is the end result. Kai already pulled on a few of the anubias as I guess he didn't like how I positioned them. You can see them floating in the picture.

He also has done some rescape get of the leaves. Dragging a few here and there to suit his desires.
