I have a female in one 55 and a male in the other. None of my fish seem to be aggressive. I guess im just lucky.

I have the same thing..none are aggressive..i hear all these stories about the auratus and both of mine are sweet..the only fish that i have that tries to always be bossy and chase is my socofoli male.. and his son.. other then that some will just chase others out of their territory and as soon as the other fish leaves the other one goes home too.. i am lucky because i hear about the killing etc and i have never had any fish get killed..i had to move one though that was always in fights {a fuelleborni male} but concidering all the fish i have never lost one to aggression.

mine out grew his 55 in three months from 1 1/2 inches. I say get the 75 then upgrade to a bumble bee. lucky to never lose a fish to aggression, but many of my fish that were killed became ill due to the stress then was a sitting target. I have 35 various size mbuna in the 55 until I moved to the 135... I was given 15 at once and had to take them... there tank had soap poured in it and I had recuse them all... that maybe the reason, have only lost one fish in the 135 right after I setup my power went out when I was out of town and my full grown lab died, all others were lying on the bottom when I walked in... I freaked... they live...
