Silver dollars will eat any kind of veetation sooner or later.. I had them for many years and always use plastic plants in their tanks.
Mine don't touch my green tiger lotus. I've had them in the same tank for 2 years now. It's a cheap readily available plant, no risk in trying since you can always replant the bulb in another tank and 85 will grow back.
