Would taking out most of my polypterus's hideing spots

I want to take out all the PVC tubes and driftwood and want to just keep a few 3-6 big round boulders in stead . Which would take away all the hiding spots . What dose MFK poly fans say .

I have just in my tank with my polys when you take all the decor and things out that's when you start seeing the poly piles. Rit now I have an ornate palmas palmas palmas buettikoferi weeksii a mokelembembe and some sens in this one corner if my tank al huddled up its pretty cool

I would take out the hiding spot. IMO, it also eases aggression and you can also see the bichirs more often. Win win situation.

I removed all mine due to aggression over territory, worked out fine.

I don't have any hiding spots in with my big polys. Just a few pieces of root wood for looks.

Sweet took it out I can see all my poly kids . Tanks for all your advice . And I was haveing trouble with some bing aggressive hopefully not any more

All my poly tanks are heavily planted with lots of driftwood and hiding spots. Not only is there no aggression, but I see all the polys throughout the day. And they're not piled, they're constantly swimming through the plants.

What knid of plant you use I have amazon swords in there and Anubis . Wanting to try some other types . I know my big guys damage a lot of the leaves and make a mess
