Would taking out most of my polypterus's hideing spots

All my poly tanks are heavily planted with lots of driftwood and hiding spots. Not only is there no aggression, but I see all the polys throughout the day. And they're not piled, they're constantly swimming through the plants.

I prefer that look over piles! But my ornate is barely on the bottom always swimming and freaking out! But not much decor

My fish life is sparked up with Polys

I use Brazilian pennywort and willow hygro as well as floaters like water lettuce.

Don't get me wrong i love to see them in the natural environment swimming with all the plants and rocks but every since i got my delhezi lol plants last about 5 minutes. Like Runitis says my ornates freaks lolol and when he freaks into my poly pile it's like a gernade goes off in my tank they just go BOOM every where i sometimes think they're gonna break the glass lolol

Vailisneria, bolbitis, tiger lotus.
With my smaller bichirs I also have hygro, java moss, dwarf sag and lots of emmergent plants.
