Would these fish be fine with each other

I looked at the initial set up costs for a 20,000 gallon pond
it is around 10,000$
the heater uses 1.5 kwh so I think heating is affordable for me
Yeah I think I should go for a 20,000 gallon pond
Maybe I should swim in it o_0

Unless you are the tropics, I think a tropical pond is unrealistic for the average family.

For the kids dreaming or the parents planning, a more realistic project is a 600-750 gallon monster tank in an insulated garage. I dare say you will get to enjoy your fish more in such a setup as well.

Guess I'm not sure how large a 50k gallon pond looks like. Understand 50k is huge, large amount of water. Just can't picture dimension wise.

My relatives in Mn own alot of land, and hav to huge man made ponds. Grandpa made 1st one bak in the 60's with dynamite. Its a big circle with island in middle, take up bout 15 acres. Can take a boat out and fish sunfish, catfish, even alot of northern pike in it. 2nd pond they built few yrs ago, close to size of football field. They've stocked with native fish, lotta trout, bass, catfish, and couple sturgeon.

Not sure how many gallons these ponds r, but if 50,000gal near size of these, whatever u stock in it, you'll never really see unless it jumps above surface, or fish it out. So guess I wouldn't understand keeping nice tropical fish in pond that size, unless u planning on hooking and reeling in

Also Dinodude, you live on decent size of land? And sure u don't plan on living at home forever, gonna hav to get your own place eventually in life...A 15k, 20k, or 50k pond b awesome, but think u should maybe tone dream down at least 14,000 gallons. More realistic for guy your age....
