Btw really doubt the tank is going to raise humidity if he has a good cover for that tank.

No other tanks in my kitchen yet and there tank will be room temp so I'm not to worried about evaporation anymore. I'm hoping it can hold the weight is all, don't want to kill my to be wet pet that I'll be making a surprise (I did research so relax I'm not getting an O or anything ridiculously huge and messy like that)

Counter tops will definitely hold 20 gallons. And evaporation won't be a problem at all in a 20 gallon tank.
