I am sorry to say this but newts make very poor tankmates for snails. Whichever of the two you get (Pomacea canaliculata or Pomacea insularum), both have a history for predatory instincts. Both are canaliculata complex with aggressive feeding habits as juveniles although adults become passive later on.ctenopoma;3107808; said:
