I was thinking this for my growout tank ...

120Gallon
2x bichir
1x silver arow
1x pleco (common)
1x catfish (dont know what type yet)
1x Pike (dont know what kind yet either)
2x Jags

Would this be a good setup? and would it be possible to have them all eat 1 type of food?

Sounds like it's a bit much to me. But I am no expert.

poop, the ammonia level will go sky high, have to always do water changes, and such,go with like 2 oscars a red devil and a angel or something.dont have to have huge fish.or go with a pleco some discus and a tsn

How big are you growing these fish out to?

that is the only reason that it wouldnt work.

Keep in mind that small arowanas are very sensitive to agressive fish. They can get spooked into not eating easily untill they are large.

your quesiton is very relevant........size is a huge determining factor in the success of the tank :grinyes:

Well im only gona be living with my parents for a year then ill be either getting a 400+ or a big ass pond in the back yard.... Maybe ill pass on the arrow and just look around

As a complete amateur I'd say drop the Aro and be prepared for a lotta water changes, but what the hell do i know....!

btw, does anyone follow Formula 1? DID YOU SEE the Hungarian GRAND PRIX? mental mental mental. And Jenson Button finally won...superb!

Sorry...got carried away there...back to the fish...
