would this help my tanks hold in heat?

thanks, ive been stressing about this for a while. were moving end of december and ive been really worried about keeping my tanks heated in a 20x20 unheated garage. i cant wait to move and get this set up.

A few years back we were moving and I put my reptiles in a 7x7x8 room in the back of our unheated garage. The walls of this room were not insulated and there was only a hollow core door. Bare concrete slab.

I was shopping for options and saw Reflectix. I had never used it but decided to give it a try and lined the walls, ceiling and door with the stuff, taking care to drap it a bit loose so it was not tight with the walls. I left the floor bare.

That winter I heated that room to over 80* with a simple oil filled radiator style space heater only sent to 700 watts. Even when it was cold enough that water in the garage froze I still kept that room warm.

Best part is that when we bought our current home I just took it down, rolled it up and reused it here. I have since recommended it to several people and many have used it with excellent results.

Make sure you also insulate the bottom of this rack you're using.

will do. the tanks will have foam under em so ill just line the wole bottom shelf with foam.
