If your camera's digital imager is the smaller-size imager (less than 24mm x 16mm), this lens will work. It wasn't designed for cameras with larger imagers. Check your specs manual or check your model number on line.

Don't forget about a Canon lense, specifically designed for your camera. Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III Zoom Lens might be a reasonably priced alternative. It's within the same price range and offers a more powerful zoom range.
