Just curious could I keep two fire mouths and a green terror together In a 30 gallon? This fits the inch of fish rule but I know the rule really is not accurate.also I really don't know enough about these fish to know if they would get Long. Any info would be great.
Thank,
Omni

No. The inch per gallon rule is really a lie especially with cichlids

I've had lots of both fm and gt and in my experience the fm have always been more of a terror than the gt. I would go with one of each or a pair of gt personally. I think gt grow slower than fm too.

All of those fish in a 30 gallon wouldn't work. Something would get beat up. I would be worried for the female if the male didn't get along with her. Not much space to run.
