Did some more research and I don't think I'm going to get salvini anymore.

Smart choice. As long as you don't get an extra nasty GT or JD, you should be in much better shape without the convicts and the salvini.
I have had some tank clearing JDs in the past, so you'll just have to keep your fingers crossed.
