Even if it was “possible” the amount of public backlash would shut you down and eventually bankrupt you anyway. No one wants anymore damage occurring to reefs in this day and age. I can almost guarantee Tonga would ostracize you simply for the negligence towards not only their national ecosystems, but also also their tourism image.

Maybe we should consider all chipping in and making it a reality, MFK island sounds good to me. Would be nice to have somewhere to retreat to away from the world at the moment.
Invest in the venture, of it goes well you could even have 3 sexy assistants!

Have you ever tried to collect fish on a reef?
I live on a small island in the Pasific, surrounded by small reefs, it is not an easy task....
But ......Just getting one tank to an island like mine to be in the hobby, is quite the logistical and expensive undertaking, I can't imagine acquiring enough equipment to maintain proper holding facilities for fish, and consistent power to keep them alive. (Power on these islands is inconsistent at the very best) Shipping costs (to ship a 1 ounce letter to the states within 48 house is around $50)
not to mention the local traditions and politics (this is a big one).
Unless you've got enough disposable income to overcome all the above.
Getting my single 180 gal to the island where I live (hiring a truck, and people on the mainland, a boat to cross the Pacific, and people on the island to get it to my house) cost the same as buying the tank (and tank cost here, is between double and triple stateside cost).
Above I added a 50 gal since, after about a year.
By the way, there are no LFSs on islands like this, where you might get pumps, fish food, meds, etc so any of that usually involves a trip to a major city on the mainland for supplies, and cartage costs.
It is an interesting adventure, I wouldn't trade for anything, of course I'm not trying to make it a business.

Environmental concerns? Piffle! This is Tonga we're talking about. Tonga! Who cares what happens way over there? Jeez, Toronto is the centre of the universe, and I bet you can't even get a direct flight to Tonga from Toronto. Is Tonga even on any map? I'll bet it doesn't even exist; it's just some fanciful tropical "paradise" that the conservationist do-gooders dreamed up in their continuous efforts to make us feel guilty as we plow ahead with our plans to make money and pave the world.

Not as long as everyones distracted by conjured plagues and race wars. Im bettin OP thinks they can slip in unnoticed now that tonga's local economy is most likely on the verge of collapse, pull an overnight raid on the coral reef, saturate the market with a plethora of tonga livestock, and have the property back on the market before anyone even catches wind of whats going on. Textbook corporate smash and grab.
I don't agree there, collecting fish from sea is easy, I watched a documentary regarding this, may be you can look it up, the name was "finding nemo".
