I would be wanting a refund. Would be different if you were at the lfs and decided to buy.

I know I didn’t name the seller, but just thought that I would say he apologized and sent another in case anyone guessed. He didn’t say specifically, but I think he knew he had that fish and sent it accidentally. I think he’s a good guy and it was an honest mistake. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from him again. Feel a little bad because that probably wipes out any profit he would have made, but I don’t think it was unreasonable to be disappointed. Thanks for commiserating everyone
You could mail him a gift card for being a stand up guy. I would.

It’s also good to see you didn’t name the seller and damage his reputation before he had a chance to respond. Everyone involved had a bit of class it seems which is rare in these times of internet outrage.

My 1 rule of buying online. Is I always ask for actual pics of the fish I'll be buying. If they cannot do that I don't buy. But glad the seller made it right.
