I was cruising around in Facebook and I saw this lady was trying to sell her 125gallon glass aquarium, the stand, both filters and both heaters. And since I'm looking for a tank 75gallons or more I asked her what she was looking to get for it. She said $900 dollars. To me, as a 19 year old that just graduated, that seems a little steep. So would you more experienced people pay that much for this tank?

You should check craigslist and see what tanks are going for in your area but that seems a bit high with an unfinished stand. What kind of filters are on it?

thats pretty steep on the price. in my area a 125 a lfs is 300$ and the stand it about 400$.

those are some sweet dimensions though. id offer them something a lot less and see what they say. they may have no idea what it is worth.

Those two HOB filters do not add any significant value imho. I live in Alaska and can get a better deal than that if I look

I got my 135 for $250. came with a stand which I painted black. Also came with a canister. I got mine off craigslist

The only "large" aquariums over 55 gallons are so over priced it's unbelievable. There 10-15 of them with an asking price of $1000-$2500. Mostly because they come with "top of the line" saltwater equipment. And every time I ask if I can just buy the tank they tell me it's worth 800 all day.. I'm most likely going to keep looking on Craigslist for that once in a lifetime deal while I save up my money to go buy a brand new one that I don't have to scrub clean and worry to much about the whole damn thing leaking on me.

Definately No!! That's way too much. I paid $200 for my 135 gallon with stand and tops. Check craigslist like everyone said, that's where I found mine. For $900, I could get a very big tank close too 300 gallon if I took my time.

I would say hell no. for that 400$ tops. check Craigslist much better deals
