Would you buy it?

I'd say 400 would be more than fair, that's a whisper filter on the right and I'm going to say an AC50 or 70 on the left so roughly 100 bucks for both. the tank is worth about $150-200. the stand isn't worth anything lol, I'd pay 50 for it just so I wouldn't have to build one. Offer her 400 and see what she sa ys, worse case she says no lol

also, that being said and what everyone else is saying, hit up craigslist. I got my 150 for 100 bucks, and my 310 for 300 bucks on craigslist lol.

worst case is she says yes and your out 400$. Then as your removing it from the impossible location it's in, your going down the stairs you slip crack the tank and drop it on your hand breaking a few fingers and damaging your wrist...

well... I mean if you want to be all negative about it and whatnot! haha. my 150 is 1/2 glass...had to carry up a stairwell just wide enough for the tank. then take a 90 degree right turn out the door at the top...2 hours later I owned a 150 gallon tank and bruised knuckles and toes lol.

see we both just talk from experience, I got a 210 2nd floor with 3/4" glass with a 180 degree turn middle of the stairs and another 90 degree at the top and bottom. heck the broken/swollen fingers but the aquarium was still fine

I was cruising around in Facebook and I saw this lady was trying to sell her 125gallon glass aquarium, the stand, both filters and both heaters. And since I'm looking for a tank 75gallons or more I asked her what she was looking to get for it. She said $900 dollars. To me, as a 19 year old that just graduated, that seems a little steep. So would you more experienced people pay that much for this tank?

h*ll no, buy from petsmart when they run deals

thats outrageous! Offer 300 and see what happens. Filters and heaters are not worth much and that stand not a big deal.
