this is a 74"x28"x36" tank. comes out to 323 acording to calculater.its 250 miles away the guy wants a $100 for it. it's been listed since may 14.are these chips a big deal?my other 300 has a 2' crack in the bottom that i put a patch over. thats been up and running for a year and a half.he says it holds water5N75L95M33K33L63M5c5h7a0c25da7d0314ae.jpgWP_000447.jpgWP_000446.jpg

This seems to fall under the category of: If it seems to be too good to be true, then you know it probably is...

If it had one small chip somewhere then maybe, but with that many, you might as well buy a new tank since you would most likely have to replace all those chipped panels...
 
what would you guys think if i made 2x4 frame to go around the outside of the tank to help support where the pain is chipped?and i used some foam insulation to transport it? thanks again
 
Im still going to say no, only coz the fact that the glass is technically weakened in so many areas it could crack right across then you'd really start kicking yourself...
