thanks guys just figuring how to get this home, if it is that old it is probably 3/4 in glass, seems older tanks are freaking heavy, my old 6ft 120, is euro braced with 3/2 and all of the sides are 3/4 thick. apprently he runs a pet store and they are moving, said it has been a bit since it was filled for a long time, but a couple weeks ago he filled it for a month and said no problems

dont put it anywhere super unlevel and be careful carrying it, make sure its level as can be. twisting large tanks like that can pop the silicone real quick

rent some of those suction cup handle things that glass companies use to move glass panels. 6 of 'em.
