Would you drive 40 miles one way to buy two used Ebo Jager 150w heaters for $10?

Just to pick the heaters up, no, I wouldnt. I'd buy new (warranty).
If theres anything else that interests you there, be it a LFS or otherwise then sure... I cant really talk though... I've driven 80kms (~60miles I think) to pick up a twin 4ft light before that I paid 20bux for.. at least it was new though lol.

I went ahead and bought it today. The deal breaker was that, I needed a powerhead so he was selling it and a friend was selling hers to at the same area. Got the powerhead for $5 from him and the two Ebo Jager heaters for $10, 150 w, 100 w. Went home plug it in, and all is good.

I usually drive about 18 miles to the LFS I like to go to and I said to myself what is 22 miles more.

Yea, I believe it is a good quality heater because I have an Rena XP3 filter. But eveyone knows that Ebo Jager is one of the best heaters out there.

Ask him to ship it for $5. Or buy one from ebay that cost about $15-$20 with shipping included. Driving 40 miles is definantly not worth it. Gas/toll/Your TIME more importantly.

It's kind of like the people who camp overnight at stores to get good deals, like what they call the day after Christmas sale. Well, I kind of did it like that. And also, it is my hobby so spending time and saving money is a big plus for me.
