Albinos would be sweet. Melanistic or Anerythristic variants would be pretty cool too. This is what happens when reptile breeders start keeping fish. Now im looking at my Paradox Midnight Blizzard and Low Yellow Hypo Leopard Geckos wondering how hypo and leustic polys would look. But at the same time im not sure i want mass line breeding of fish like polys

Can you tell the difference between a dyed fish and a transgenic fish by looking at it? Few can.
you can if you wait a couple months

I had to look up what you were talking about and it reminds me of bristlenose plecos and all of their color morphs like the long fin super red bristlenose that I have.

T thefredpit that would be pretty cool. I think i could go for a T+ Albino Ornate or Lap. Ive spent most of my life working with reptiles and the variation within a single species that line bred morphology can create is just mindblowing

I'm personally not a huge fan of over engineered fish. No thanks

I'm not into it either. I'd rather stick to the gorgeous colors they already exist with.

The albinos don't even do it for me, even though I know that's a thing that happens without human intervention. I do like the look of platinums, though. The dark eye along with the white fish.

This reminds me of this show I watched last night, where this guy was putting spider genes in goats in order to mass produce spider silk. When successful the spider web nonsense would come right out of their utters. Interesting stuff.

On topic I'm with J jaws7777 , magpie magpie and Hendre Hendre I'm not into the engineered fishies. Cool thread though
