Would you let a total stranger into your home?

I understand. It is getting worse all over.

But as a Principle, someone knocking on my door, assuming i and my boys are home ( and that, with the dogs is a whole lot of meat let me tell you ) i would see no problem.

I do not imagine my wife or my daughters doing that, of course, nowadays.

But i grew up in an environment where the doors were left open. I remember my father coming to lunch and forgetting the car working outside and it still being there working, after lunch.

The doors were unlocked when I was a kid but its not the same for my kids , there's lots of weird crime in UK these days it seems to be everywhere :(

Someone stole my stepdads cadillac from outside his house. Hes an ex police officer and hes lucky he didnt have a firearm in the car at the time. That could have been terrible. He walked inside to go get my brother and he ended up sitting down to watch tv and when my brother went outside to walk to the park it was gone and he came and got my stepdad. We never found the car and no leads or anything on it. The same thing happened to my dads friend, he had a brand new 2008 (it was in 2008 this happened) pontiac gto. It was insanely fast and looked awesome. He goes outside to go to bring his son to school and the car is gone. Someone turned off the alarm somehow and a couple young kids took it. They ended up finding it a week or two later and it was totalled, it was not even worth restoring at that point. We live near harlem which is where the one gto was taken to. The Cadillac was never found though. Its sad though. Btw the keys werent even in the cadilac. Needless to say ive never seen someone so pissed. He ended up getting a new car though about a week after. Really sucks how bad some places are.

That seems like someone was targeting those cars and it wasn't done at random.

Speaking experience as I have serval cousins that got arrested for gta. A car is never taken or broken into without reason. Unless your an idiot like the people on bait car.
