Why don't you get a small one and grow him out? You'd get so attached watching that little monster develop into a beast.

I have done it before but at the moment I'm grow out a large shoal of widebar silver dollars and this guy just happen to come along and is 20 minutes from my house so I figured I'd start with a glass banger and see how much bigger I can get him he's gorgeous and really hate to pass him up and I'd rather get him then watch him go to a lfs where he won't be appreciated
Btw your red devil is the coolest red devil I've ever seen that white mask is just amazing

I don't understand the hype about these fish. They are a dime a dozen around here, but if you want it and have a hundred bucks, by all means buy it.
 
my lfs is selling a 6" w.c. female and a 6" F1 male for 70 each..... at that size, i'd buy it. seems like a good price to me. plus, if you love it, than go for it.

This is literally the first umbee I have ever seen in my area every other umbee I have ever owned was order online I've never even seen one in my lfs they arnt very common where I am

Im with you about the hype. In a few months im sure it will be another fish.

But i still cant deny a amazing looking fish, regardless what it is, its beautiful and for $100 a good deal.
