It's been years since I bought any CA/SA cichlids and the prices must have gone up quite a bit if that is acceptable.

$20 maybe $25 if I got excited. Its a nice fish but as fast as they grow, you could get a smaller one for a fraction of that price and have it up to size in no time. I don't know where you're from but, the last baby jag I bought was $2 at Petsmart in FL. So, even if they've tripled in price its a better deal.

It's a bit on the common side and a little high on the price. But it is only $30 if it is only $30 to you. They are aggressive depending on what's your plan for the fish.
