I allready have a 15" male umbee and a pair of 13" wild caught dovi from rapps an now i'am on the hunt for some nice haitiensis, but the umbee's are the best an very hard to find at a nice size.
Would you rather have a Nasty, Dovii or Umbee?

i would take the haitiensis when fully grown he looks amazing, better looking from the dovii.

At one point last year, I had a 13" male Odo, 15" male Umbee, & a 13" male Dovii. Right now, I have a 10" male Odo, 11" male umbee, and a 14" Dovii.
My favorite
1) Odo - outgoing personality and the silver and black pattern, bosy shape and fins are awesome.
2) Umbee - Outgoing too with a very nice color
3) Dovii - Predatory look but is a pain in the a** to take care of because of the splashing...good thing I have my tanks in the garage

I'd rather have an Dovii i just love the color and the temperment they have and you dont see many at the pet stores aroundhere so i may get a profit out of it too but the dovii is the one for me that my perferance.
I would rather have a nice 16" Male Black nasty anyday, because of the personality. Other than that its a toss-up between the other two fish.
Umbee all the way, if I ever decide to bite the bullet and shell out 300+g of tankspace for a large openwater predator... Haiti's would be next, because I've never kept them for an extended period of time. I had 4, 1 killed the other 3, and I eventually sold him after about a year (bought a ~1 inch, sold at ~7.5 inches) for an offer I couldn't refuse. Dovii, I've kept on many an occasion from 2.5-17 inches... my 17 inch male recently passed away (unconfirmed reason, eating and thrashing around 1 day, belly up the next). Awesome fish, but if I were to do another of the whole solitary fish run I think I'd rather go with an umbee or wyckii catfish.
