He obviously has some personal problem with Miles. I don't know either of them very well but I can pick that up :)

you can infer whatever you like, as you can infer my attitude from my avatar and my signature. Leave others out of this, I am speaking generally, not specifically. :)

I think it is dangerous to follow any advice you get on the internet blindly. This should not exclude ray keeping. I am far from an expert on rays. That is why I try to keep my "advice" to things I know can't hurt anything. Like testing water parameters or investigating tank mates and decorations or substrate etc...

I may be guessing who you are talking about but It is a pretty educated guess

Yes, the first rule is always " do no harm"
This is medical ethics 101
:)
The second rule is " check your sources and have more than one source wherever possible"

Its an pretty easy and obvious answere on the question, and i think we all can agree on that(and yes, it is the proven experienced guy if you wondered). But how would we know what the best advice would be? And how do we know that this advice comes from the "very best elite"? By looking at post logg? "he has many post, he must be good".. I remember we had this discussion on another forum i am at, and there is no correct answere, there is no perfect way of fishhusbandry. There are always several ways to go from bad to good, or the other way around..When it comes to diseases, paracites etc, THATS when you need good advice, and there can always be different ways to fix, and maybe we should be more critical to the guys answering, for an example a simple question as "have you done this?"..

And i think its unfair to post a question, you seem to know the answere of, youst to test the other guy around, no point in that..I like critical people(im one of them), but its a thin line to walk, from being stupid or just being curious, and it is also the way you do it, ive bin arrested myselfe hundreds of times by my wife, for being besserwise, without really having a good answere or strong opinion, i was simply just being stupid for whatever couse i dont even know myselfe, little to earn.

well doesnt matter who is rt or who is wrong. Everyone has their own way of doing things and this forum is desiged to talk about rays and get help with rays. So in my opinion, I think this forum does not belong here and should be moved. But thats my opinion. :)

That is true, 'who' doesn't matter so much, but it DOES matter WHAT is right and what is wrong doesn't it? :) and if you know "who' then you have a better chance of knowing 'what' correctly.
:)
It is a problem with the internet in general that there is a slew of bad information out there, opinions published as fact, that needs to be counterbalanced.

I think you and everyone else have a contribution to make to the forum. I think everyone should be careful what they read on the internet and use their best judgement on all things not just fish keeping.

If we could leave the past behind and set aside the polotics we can learn a lot from eachother. I have no problem with anyone proving me wrong or having a differing opinion. Lets just try to be more civil when pointing these things out :)
