  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
aww i love em, ive had two, percy (a blue) we got at 10 inch and he grew to 14 inch and i sold him due to aggression, lives in an 8x2x2 alone now a few miles away now!-) i had frosty more recently who was white, he quickly grew from 8 to 14 inch in about 3 months in the 300, this time the mess became to much for me lol, earthworm sized poos. miss em both, they loved strawberrys and tomatoes... at 14 inch they can snip chunks off of thick cucumber slices!! one day if i get the tank i want i may try again.
they are the type of fish that has to have a name, without a doubt the most personable fish ive had the plaesure of keeping, closly followed by rtc and oscar. i am irresponsible sometimes and impulse buy these fish, dont follow suit as its heart breaking when you have to let them go... best left for 500g+ imo.

Indeed! You list some good reasons why they are my "dream" fish. Maybe if I win the lottery.

I know it was a huge gourami in a 350 gallon tank with a catfish it was pretty cool they also had sabretusk barracudas, and killer catfish, arowanas etc.

Im serious I swear thats what it said I wish i got the scientific name for you but when i talked to the owner he said they will eat anything or anything that will fit in its mouth, it might have been a goonch.

I lover personable fish like Oscars and I am building a 700g right now and have thought of adding one... but I'm not sure if I want another fish with much biomass, since I will have a few big guys already... plus I have heard they get aggressive. I do love the Red tail ones!
