wow...a live 24k gold koi

Rrrrrrrriiight. Some parts of the fish are pure 24 carat gold?! It looks like they wrapped a real koi in gold foil or something.
 
they found a koi in the ocean? and its made of gold? killing two birds with one stone
 
i call fake, first the article calls it a goldfish. its definitely shaped like a koi, note the barbels.
second it claims its caught in a sea(seas almost always refer to a large saline water body and taiwan is a island so this points to saline water too, also taiwan has no large bodies of water from what i can see on a map) koi and goldfish can stand a good bit of water but not ocean salinity to my knowledge.

if it is a live fish they probably painted the poor thing
 
i forgot they can paint fish! wow its been awhile since ive seen a painted fish. they probably either painted the fish with traces of gold or maybe not even, or they did some injections with gold for color. wonder how long itll live?

i dont think they even injected it it looks like they actually painted it on the outside, the fish seems almost featureless, its fins look very fat, the fins should be more translucent near the ends.
i suppose all this could be a side effect of the mutation, if its real but it just looks unnatural to me
 
i dont even see how you guys think this can be real. looks like a fake fish 100%
 
the thing looks fake in the clear underwater pics. the fins are to thick and hid mouth isn't in any different position through all of the pics.
