It looks like a really poorly executed plastic fake fish. One you'd buy for your kid to play in the tub with. Then they spray painted it with metallic gold-colored paint.

the thing looks fake in the clear underwater pics. the fins are to thick and hid mouth isn't in any different position through all of the pics.
