Wow I've got big wood;-)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
10 spanners would take over, they can get 10-12" in the wild. They are very active too, imagine giant tiger barbs.

Yikes! Had a similar situation with a rope

Grr there is just no fish to fit the bill

Looking for a dithers for JDs
Looked at
Congo tetras.....too small may be snacks for adults
Serpae tetras same thing snacks
Tiger barbs. Snack time
Roseline sharks. Big long snacks....
Filanent barbs. Ok bigger but plain looking
Spanner barbs bigger, better looking
Sailfin mollys. Think I may go this route since they do live together in the wild.

By all means get spanners but 10 is too many imo, maybe 5?

Mine haven't grown past 6" in years. Don't think they ever will. Everywhere on the net max size is listed at 18cm, that fish is likely a freak WC old boy.

Ok so 5 you think is doable.
Still tied between them and sailfin Molly's

The free live food snacks of Molly babies may be the winning factor. Was thinking 6f 2male.

Yeah I believe sailfins or sword tails is the way. I would consider 18f and 4m for a 125!-)
