Wow guys, your all really inconsiderate to these people, just cause some are you've deemed them all to be. Get a life, go say it to his face, not on a website hidden behind your computers.

I worked at a big box pet store for a few years...i have a pretty backed up viewpoint. These store do good things in terms of non-profit funding, adoptions, vet care, etc...but absolutely NOTHING for reptiles and aquatics. Besides offering corporate style, generalized care retirements and not training employees. Not going to toot my own horn too much but i was well liked working there, and i constantly voiced my opinion. I would love to tell him how i feel, but i dont think i need to...there are enough "boycot ******" and "****** kills animals" groups and ideas out there....

i worked at one as well for two years and was also well liked simply because i had KNOWLEDGE that actually helped people... but i was equally as hated because i would refused sales to people that did not have an animals best interest in mind... people dont want to hear that you cant fully stock your tank the night or day after you buy it... and i didnt let that happen. they dont want to hear that keeping a bearded dragon is very expensive, and the cost of the supplies for one tiny dragon is more than triple the cost of the animal itself...

i was a manager in pet care, and trianed by what i knew, not by the book.. and i actually had a pretty good crew for a while..
but could only take that job for so long... i was so happy to quit.

lol The pleco looks good but I wouldnt personally subject any of my monsters to a bowl even for a photo.
