What type of rays are these, I took them with a camera phone. I'm iding them for the guy at the store so he can correctly sell them on his websight.

they are a black, with brown circle/flower patterns on them.

one has a little white part at the end of his/her tail i'm guessing from the other ray in the tank

Retics.. the tail probably broke off in shipping. The retics extra long tail will hang out of the water because they overpack them to save cost, and then it will become fungal and fall off.

yes they are illegal to own, but if you have a permet you can keep or sell them. which he does, he ships to people, there 125$ each. He owns a little fish store, and gets some cool stuff. he has a websight but I cant find the business card
