It really looks like a whale shark,but I think it is a catfish. Like liljoe0985 said a whale shark only eats krill and plankton,and other small shrimps and invertebrates,along with fish eggs. So it might be a catfish that grew large! Catfish have been known to reach 11 feet.

But seriously it could be some made up thing to get your attention.

that is obvisly a whale shark you can tell from lack of barbles, body shape and colour/pattern

It really looks like a whale shark,but I think it is a catfish.

Find me a species of catfish that looks like that and I'll eat my computer...notice the multiple gill slits, the dorsal fin, the coloration, the fact it's a whale shark...
