its a female.... that thing in the vid were its moving the sand or w.e is female behavior.

Haha, why you guy think he is a female if I have female 3" with this big hump that will be awesome..when a male want to XXX they do that too.....wait til i got baby from this guy ....

It does look like a male, But it really could just be a very nice female. The reason I say this is because the body shape and breeding tube seem off, But its almost too stocky and koky to be female. Appears to be male, but I would vent it to be sure.
Mating behavior has nothing to do with sexing a fish, unless you start seeing eggs coming out. Ive bred many fish all with different personalities and breed rituals. Some are diggers, some are wigglers, some are killers, some are lovers. That scuddling he is doing is just showing off to attract a mate.
