Oh, the point of the little pond was that I can still use all of the same stuff on the big pond(the light, the filter can be used to help cycle the big pond, etc.). I know what you're saying, though... might as well just go ahead and do it! As long as the turtles can deal with the deeper water, it sounds like a good idea.
Wow, these turtles sure are cute... I think it's time for another pond!
