Yeah ok, the frog eyes and smoking chair comments and such might be a bit insulting. But funny.
They could be saying much worse things.
I think we all get that she is not stuck in a chair because she is fat.
She is fat because she is stuck in a chair, for whatever reasons.
And good for her, for hanging in there and still participating in life.
My legs work fine, I still don't mow the lawn. I might not be a fat cripple, but I am lazy.
Sorry, I did try to think of a tasteful way to say 'fat cripple'.
