Wow...

I am only disgusted with envy. The fish all looked spectacular. A few looked like the had signs of hith, but to have a collection like that I'm sure he regularly takes in "strays".

Guys I could be wrong but the tank seems only slightly over stocked 15000G and he has 20 fish which is 5 fish over imho(100G per fish), I could be seeing stuff wrong its late but towards the end the full size of the tank seemed ok also.

I dont really like this setup prefer species tanks but some of his fish look amazing! must be doing something right...

I think its funny how some people hate this kind of tank and others love it.

I personally am not a fan of heavily/over stocked tanks. But that being said he is definately doing something right.

I find tanks like this rather boring, as you don't get to see a lot of "natural behavior." But I do see the appeal. I started a thread a while back on techniques for housing large cichlids together and this method was brought up and can work for people.

+1 I would rather understock a large tank and see natural behaviour, than overstock and see this. Granted its colourful? But i wouldn't exchange colour for personality in a fish - especially cichlids.

+2 kind of defeats the purpose of keeping cichlids if you can't watch all the cool natural behavior they exhibit but some people just buy fish for the color or to say they have that fish. Like mentioned its not my style if I want to keep a bunch of colorful fish that do nothing I'll get goldfish :).

My 225 is pretty heavily stocked at the moment. Guess which tank I watch most in the house? It's not the 225 I dropped four figures on with the setup and have some wild caught show fish, it's the 90 gallon that's scratched up and has a small breeding pair of T. sieboldii with fry. :D
Moving several fish from the 225 to a new 180 as soon as the background is installed.

Actually, even if that amount of fish wasn't too much, I still wouldn't want to keep so many. I like knowing/ being able to list every single fish I have in my tanks/pond and seeing each one every day. I bet that doesn't apply to the owner of that tank.
