I got him 2 months ago. This morning i fed him and he eats well and active. Thats why im a bit confused what causes him to get so big like that in just 2-3 weeks thats so odd. spotfin spotfin

This looks like a form of bloat but sorry I have no idea how to help. I have never experienced this, but have seen a couple of posts on here where people have had a similar issue.

Thanks jim barry jim barry . Is it deadly for a stingray? I mean like he seems so normal eating and swimming

I had a hystrix develop a bloating issue some years ago. She stopped eating and eventually passed. Not sure how to help your ray. Has he continued to thicken?

It seems that it has stop thickenning this week. I ask the guy at my LFS (speciality in stingray), he said that usually it caused by internal bacteria/parasite and I started treat it with prazi gold 2 days ago, we’ll see how it goes. He is still active and eat really well. But i reduce the amount of food he eats.

He is still thick but the bloated body seems to going down a little bit. Not as thick as the first pict. The good thing is he has stop getting thicker. Treated it with prazi gold and did a water change every 3 days. He is doing great, more active and eats really well. I just hope he can fully recover to his normal condition
