writing (DSLR) in photo lounge threads...?

You may not think DSLR is better, but I do, and so do many other people 
Admittedly, it's the technology that is better but NOT necessarily the end result---the pics.
If you own a DSLR, the tips in DSLR threads might be more helpful to you.
And finally, if you don't have a DSLR camera, DSLR threads help convince you to get one or to keep on saving towards getting one (that's me)

If you look up a fellow by the username of Rafal (sp), he shoots white oscars with a point n' shoot. He's won several fish forum photo contests, and I believe at least one potm on this site. It's really hard to tell what he's shooting with.
I just don't think it's necessary to say in your title that you're shooting with a dslr. I know why Li did it. It's because several guys kept bugging him to get a dslr so he could get better pics of his awesome collection. I know I bugged him for a long time to take the plunge.

here is a shot taken with a non DSLR camera. itwas taken via a Panasonic (c) DMC-TZ5 digital compact camera.

I'm not saying i think non dslr cameras are worthless. I've seen some cool pictures my self. But the upside of the DSLR is nuts. And im sure you agree.
Do you think putting "DSLR" in your title takes away from other threads? If so why? (Just wondering?) I mean no harm Gerry just wondering? I have nothing aginst any bodys thoughts.
I sometimes put "DSLR" in my title.. But not for extra attention. Mainly when i get a decent shoot for me. (Trash to you.) lol But i'm honestly just looking for more help/advice? You know better than anybody i really want to take nice photos with my camera.

Just trying to understand where your coming from. Ed please respond also. If you can, Seems you share similar views?A good photo shot should not be judged on the camera it was taken with, so why ID the camera in the thread. It is the quality of the photo not the cost of the camera.
