If any of the other additives wont be toxic to fish ill just continue to pish down on the substrate to release gases and do water changes...

Perlitcis volcanic glass so no problems there. Bit the amount of nutrents can have I'll efects on live stock that's why I suggested have it run plants only for a bit while pkkeing to relsse build up gas.

Soils that aren't all organic just contain more nutrients like what you'd find in osmocote, and perlite for drainage, which is 100% safe. the nutrients are just released more immediately instead of organics breaking down to produce the stuff. So water changes and plants and once it cycles you're good to go
