To begin with it might be helpful to know what it is your trying to filter...I don't know of very many stands you can put a 180 or especially a 240 under in the first place. The bins I was talking about come in a thinner more managable size...plus you have a lot more filtration options than a wet dry system. A sump system is usually less expencive than a sealed pressure system but NOT if your talking about using a 600.00 to 900.00 acrylic tank for the sump...

I'm not sure how this will help me in my quest for a 180 or 240 gallon acrylic tank, but since you ask;
It's a sump for a 500 gallon reef I'm putting together, I'd like the sump to be a 180 or 240, (pref. 240) for more water volume and various in sump equip. I'd like it to be acrylic so I can easily modify it to fit my needs. also, I'll be growing out coral frags and I'll want to see them.
I'll be building the stand to accommodate the sump, and there will be plenty of room, the tank is 30" deep.
In anticipation of any further questions or comments, I'm very confident in what I'm doing, I've built many stands and put together many reef systems, so I don't need any advisement, counsel, directions, tips, warnings or suggestions. but thank you anyways.

All I'm asking is to buy someones 180 or 240 acrylic aquarium.
Please let me know if you have one to sell.

Thank you very much.
May your fish grow large and your NO3's stay low.
