Looking for a 60" (5 foot) by 20" footprint tank for a sump. Somewhere between 15" and 20" tall. This would be around 80 to 100 gallons in case you have a 5 footer but haven't measured it lately.
I prefer it to hold water, but I can deal with 1 broken side pane of glass (I don't mind re-building it being that I am adding baffles). It needs to be 60" long, but I can be a little flexible on the width. 20" is preferable, but I would be willing to think about 17 or 18 inches as well. Part of the sump will be an area for pleco grow out, so the larger the footprint the better.
Here is the design plan for anyone killing time at work
.
Basically, I am building a refugium & wet/dry combo sump that will be housing some of our naughty plecos (a few of them were chewing on the fire eels).
Here is where it is going:
Front:
Back:
Back w/ sump:
Front w/ sump:
Front w/ sump 2:
The tank has been ordered, and I am building the stand, canopy, and sump myself. I'll start a new thread in the DIY section when I start to build it.
