Might be getting this guy. He's got exceptional patterning for a 4" specimen. I'm waiting on pics of the right side before I pull the trigger.

He appears to be a mosaic pattern, which is what I want...?

I'm also pretty sure I've figured out the color issue and I'm excited to test it. Gotta get a fish first...

Here tell you what, purchase the fish, send it to me I’ll grow it out, and if it mosaic I’ll send it back! This way you won’t be a commoner like us

Dloks is this guy sufficiently non-pedestrian for you?

I'm pulling the trigger when the seller replies to me today. This fish doesn't appear to have the black masking color on it's head, has light coloration on the dorsal fin, and it has a very broken mosaic pattern.

This may be my wild card juruense.
